in the last weekOK! This is not a paid review but I feel obliged to write about this bar-restaurant that I'd gone to back in late 2017 (or was it early 2018?). After two visits I just stopped going. No particular reason ya. The world is small after all... I met Paul Das, one of Locker & Loft founders at a whisky event after many years. We chatted and I was surprised to learn the connection. Anyway long story short, one day I was looking for a whisky supplier and kebetulan she was having drink at Paul's place. When I was there, we started with cocktails. Little did we know that we were in for a long night once Paul showed up. Being a generous host that he is, we were treated to his very own Irish whiskey label West Cork including some of those not available in the market. Other interesting alcohol include small batch gin from Crossbill, Sri Lankan Arrack (distilled from coconut). Not only that, their head chef prepared interesting dishes such as char siew-like lamb belly that melt in the mouth, plus fish & chip using ikan keli (you read it right) from his own farm. Didn't know that it tasted that good. Seriously, food is good on top of their assortment of alcoholic beverages.

2 weeks agoThe rundown locker made me wonder why was it placed there, turns out to be the entrance. Pan Seared Barramundi is really good, goes really well with the roasted tomato lemon sauce. Magherita Pizza would do better with more basil leaves. Caveman Board Angus steak 400g is local Malaysian beef, it's leaner and tougher. Not really keen in any alcohol but decided on trying Jacked-Up, a Nangka fruit cocktail. Ambience is rather cosy, dimly lighted, feels like a tavern settings.

2 weeks agoGreat place - nice and cosy place for a good catch up with friends. Great tapas and cocktails- one time they poured a bad cocktail they replaced it with a better one! Top notch ambience.
