Taiwanese Food
The Taiwanese Food search continued at Restoran Taiwan Noodle House, ss2
28 January 2007 - 7:30am - fried-tomato
The taiwanese food search had continued, and now i had found some good taiwanese food that worth talking and i liked. First will be the pork chop, try it now or regret later. The pork chop comes with certain noodles but if you were to just order the pork chop, it is extra rm4.00. (i felt that it is a little expensive for that little portion)

This is the one i ordered the "chap choi" noodles, it tastes really good after you put in all the red chillies that come with the noodles. Not denying the chillies here is good.

Ipoh Pengkalan Pasar Malam I
8 January 2007 - 6:09am - fishballFor the past two weeks, I went back to my hometown Ipoh to spend my Uni holiday. Every time when I go back home, other than my parents, one person will be very happy. This lovely girl is my younger cousin. She likes to go pasar malam very much and I am the only one who will bring her there. We of course will always go to the nearest pasar malam which is the one located in Pengkalan, operates every thursday night. This is a typical Malaysia Chinese night market cause you can find all sort of malaysian Chinese food over there.
The return of Taiwanese Food search, at Little Taiwan Subang Jaya
29 December 2006 - 11:25pm - fried-tomatoThe search of Taiwanese Food has returned, at subang jaya we found another new spot for Taiwanese Food. It is at the shoplot opposite Taylor college. After my first experience on Taiwanese food at Restoran Neighbourhood at Damansara Perdana which i blogged few weeks back, i decided to give taiwanese food another try.

Although i could not convice myself to like Taiwanese food, but i just like trying it because of it's variety. So this time we tried something different again, the taiwanese speacial toast, if you read chinese you know from the menu it is called 棺材面包 direct translated as: coffin bread, and because of that my gf said don't order this. fainted~ what a superstitious lady. RM 5.90, i don't quite like this but i will still continue the search until i found taiwanese food that i like.
Taiwanese food at Restoran Neighbourhood, Damansara Perdana

I believe a lot of Malaysian got influenced by Taiwanese Variety show that is bombing Malaysia television programme so if you plan to try some Taiwanese food, you might want to drop by to this restaurant. The lady boss of this restaurant is a Taiwanese, so i think at here you are able to try out pretty original Taiwanese food.

This is the "lu roh fan" 魯肉飯 (minced fatty pork served on rice) i ordered and this is a very typical Taiwanese dishes. I have not eaten this before, so i can't compare but what i feel is the taste does not really suit the ordinary Malaysian Chinese tastes bud. We are in a multi race community so we somehow would prefer spicy food. (just like what i am, a curry lover)
