Before I start this review, let me just share with you – my eventful NYE celebration.
We breezed through KL traffic and got to Pavilion on record breaking time. Had dinner in a VIP room at Carlos Mexican Canteena, amidst the camaraderie of bustling party-goers, though dinner wasn’t exactly gratifying. Hopped over to a friend’s place, upstairs, for after-drinks while anxiously counting down to the new year. Had full blown, picturesque view of the KLCC fireworks (here’s a picture), with bubblies in hand of course. Skipped our way to Butter Factory, danced, had a couple of shots, and developed odd-cravings for Kajang satay. Drove miles to Kajang, not knowing that shops closed wee-early. Dragged ourselves back to Jalan Ipoh and had dim sum at one of KL’s oldest Chinese eatery. By the time we finished, it was already 5am. That pretty much sums up my welcoming of 2014.
