What are the benefits of organic vegetable gardening?
28 January 2010 - 1:29am - LindaCThe biggest thing is the upfront health issue. Obviously, when you are using chemical pesticides that were designed to kill bugs and you are putting them on your food crops, there is a pretty good chance that you will ingest those chemicals. We really don't have any idea what that does to our bodies -- no information to say that these are actually safe to ingest. There is a lot of controversy about that.

Business tips : restaurant / bar
25 January 2010 - 11:30pm - LindaCThe Restaurant
In the restaurant side of the house, there are only four areas you need to excel in. To fail in just one or two of these areas will not necessarily doom you to bankruptcy, but it will certainly make it difficult to achieve success. To bomb in all of these areas will almost certainly guarantee failure. The four crucial areas are menu, service, location, and ambiance.

How to lock your compact refrigerator
25 January 2010 - 8:33pm - LindaCI was once a college and lived in a dormitory with several dorm mates. Of course we share a common bathroom, living room, dining room and refrigerator. Definitely, we don't share foods. We buy our own food and stock it in the fridge. But during my college days in a dorm, I brought my personal fridge since we don't have a fridge in the dorm. My dorm mates will ask me if it's okay if they will put their foods in my fridge since some of their foods needs to be refrigerated. I said yes, but one thing is for sure, they also take my foods if I'm not around!

Cooking tips: recipes with honey
7 January 2010 - 5:17am - LindaCHoney has long been used for things such as sweetening tea, spreading on toast, and as an ingredient in facials and home remedies that are designed to fight cold and flu symptoms. There’s much more to this delightful alternative to sugar than that. Honey, in its own right, has a place in the annals of cooking and can be used to create gloriously delicious dishes – from salad to dessert. Here are some suggestions for foods that integrate honey into their list of ingredients. Recipes are available in a variety of cookbooks and online, using title names as keywords.

Business Security
4 January 2010 - 9:03am - LindaCThe basic configuration of an average business alarm systems consists of a control panel, siren and sensors. The control panel will need a permanent power supply and its job is to monitor the sensors so when the alarm is in "armed" mode, it will make the siren sound if any of the sensors are triggered. Depending on the model of alarm, it is often possible to select sensors to go into several zones. You can then decide to switch off certain zones from being monitored, if desired. Why would you want to turn off zones?

Scaling a Maid Service
1 December 2009 - 7:02am - LindaCOnce you have decided to scale your business, then be patient and opportunistic in hiring your first two employees. You can afford to make a mistake now and then in hiring, if you already have ten employees, but for the first several employees, a mistake is more painful. We have always had lousy luck advertising for employees. Instead, if I were you, I would begin searching ads for employees seeking house cleaning positions. Don't pay a fee to any service--you are not hiring a CEO; you are hiring a maid.

Implement Termite Pest Control in Your Building
26 November 2009 - 10:37am - LindaCBefore you construct a building on woodland, remove all stumps and logs that show signs of decay in the surrounding areas, and burn them. Subterranean termites might be, in this case, numerous under the soil. You may have to plow deeply or break up and inject the soil itself with termiticide.
If there are decaying posts, fences, or sidewalks in the vicinity, have them replaced or destroyed if possible. Any decaying material facilitates the growth and breeding of termite colonies.

Tips on Laminate Flooring
26 November 2009 - 12:54am - LindaCLaminate flooring ( Scottsdale Laminate Flooring )is designed to resist scratching and gouging, but it is still vulnerable to abrasive cleaners, soaps, and the biggest source of all scratches-dirt tracked in under shoes. If you aren't careful, the protective coating on your laminate flooring can wear away and will need to be replace. You can prevent this by placing protective casters on your furniture and enforcing a no shoes rule inside of your house.

Hiring a Maid Service Tips
20 November 2009 - 10:14am - LindaCFast-paced lifestyles, hectic schedules and a lack of free time can lead one to consider hiring a maid service to handle critical house cleaning duties. But before picking up the phone to schedule an appointment, it is important to know whom you are letting into your home. Here are some tips from Arizona maid services:
Bonding: Make sure the maid service is bonded for its house cleaning clientèle. Should a theft occur, you need to be protected. Some companies, if they are bonded at all, protect only themselves, not the consumer.

13 November 2009 - 9:23am - LindaCPest Tips
* Seal cracks in your home's exterior to help keep pests like ants, spiders and cockroaches from getting inside.
* Be sure all doors and windows are properly sealed with tight-fitting screens and weather stripping.
* Don't leave uncovered food sitting out. It can attract flies that might land on it and spread harmful bacteria.
* Consider storing clothing in plastic boxes or pouches to prevent fabric pests from getting to them.

What are some tips for removing very tough stains from carpets?
6 November 2009 - 5:13am - LindaCNothing brings an evening down quicker than spilling something on a brand new carpet. Spilling can be the least of your carpet concerns because some stains can set in that are a little bit tougher than the ones that come from the refrigerator. Those stains - grease, candle wax, blood, paint and chewing gum - can easily ruin the life of a carpet. But with proper treatment, those stains and all evidence of the stain can be removed, according to Kansas City carpet cleaners.

Fusion Food in Ampang
23 December 2007 - 12:07am - makankingIn our quest to find good food in KL (like we always do), my friends and i recently patronized a unique makan place in Ampang. Someone we knew told us bout this place and we decided to try. I must admit... we've never tried something like this in town. To put it in simple words - Unique, Healthy, Reasonably Priced, and most importantly Sumptuous. I simply loved their braised minced meat which they use in their servings of rice and noodles. And need i mention the home made noodles...
Now, the MUST TRY items:
1. Braised Minced Meat Rice (Pretty much like Taiwanese food)
